Eric Ostby, PhD

Eric is the Chief Product Officer at Aliro Quantum. He leads product management and is responsible for setting product strategy and roadmaps, driving product direction and commercialization, and working closely with customers and partners to incorporate product requirements. Eric has more than ten years of experience leading product development for quantum technologies. He has held product leadership roles for quantum software and hardware at Rigetti Computing and Google, including the key role he played in the demonstration of quantum supremacy at Google. Eric led project teams at the Boston Consulting Group, and worked for IBM and Raytheon on laser development including fiber communications and high energy applications.  

Eric received his PhD from Caltech in electrical engineering with a focus on high quality factor optical resonators.
